The Cheyenne Police Department (CPD) is releasing crime data collected during Cheyenne Frontier Days. Calls for service, arrests, and summons/citations have decreased across the city.
The 10-day analysis contains data that was collected from July 17, 2026 through July 26, 2026 and compared across Frontier Week in 2025.
According to the data, Cheyenne Police Officers responded to 2,340 calls for service. During the week, 44 arrests were made and 84 summons/citations were issued. There were 1.8% less calls in 2026 (compared to 2,382 in 2025) and 20 fewer arrests.
A breakdown of CPD reports highlights which types of crimes individuals were arrested for. The list only shows primary charges associated with each arrest; however, some arrests may include additional secondary charges.
According to the breakdown, most arrests were related to active warrants, public intoxication, and domestic violence.
