Deadline to apply is May 31, 2024
The City of Cheyenne’s Governing Body is considering an amendment to its towing and wrecker recovery operations ordinance, which allows companies to apply to participate in the Cheyenne Police Department's tow rotation list.
On a rotating basis, approved companies will be requested by the department to respond to the scenes of accidents, incidents or emergencies involving motor vehicles and the necessity for towing and wrecker recovery operations.
To be included in the list, the applicant agrees to comply with conditions set forth in Ordinances 5.78.030 and 5.78.040.
All drivers/operators are required to be trained and knowledgeable in the operation of all equipment.
