Cheyenne Police Department Releases Frontier Week Crime Data

The Cheyenne Police Department (CPD) is releasing crime data collected during Cheyenne Frontier Days. Calls for service have decreased across the city, while arrests increased.
The 10-day analysis contains data that was collected from July 18, 2025 through July 27, 2025 and compared across Frontier Week in 2024.
According to the data, Cheyenne Police Officers responded to 2,382 calls for service, and during the week, 69 arrests were made. There were 2.7% less calls in 2025 (compared to 2,447 in 2024) and 3 more arrests.
A breakdown of CPD reports highlights which types of crimes individuals were arrested for. The list only shows primary charges associated with each arrest; however, some arrests may include additional secondary charges. There were 146 charges total during the noted timeframe.
According to the breakdown, most arrests were related to active warrants, public intoxication, and narcotics. There were also eight Driving Under the Influence (DUI) arrests, six domestic batteries, two thefts, and two related to fighting.
