POST Written Exam

Written POST exams are scheduled at the Cheyenne Public Safety Center

• A valid picture ID is required to take the exam.
• Applicants must pass with a 75% cumulative score.

If you are unable to take your written test in Cheyenne:

• The exam can be taken any time prior to testing, however, you need to contact Wyoming Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) to schedule an appointment at (307) 358-8213. A valid picture ID is required. Exam results are valid for a 12 month period.
• Cost: $35 (cash only)
